Set Design
KindHumanKind is a theatrical production that renders Aurora Nealand’s remarkable compositions into a dreamscape of music, images, and movement. Directed and produced by Goat in the Road, the performance melds the excitement of live music with the imagery and nuance of contemporary experimental theater.
I designed the set, which featured over 30 projection surfaces, an array of trick rigged curtains, a drab waiting room with a garden flourishing above the roofline, and a moving sidelight position that traveled with the performers along the 80 foot depth of the performance space on a set of provisional railroad tracks.
